Steam Error

SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf, 0x0034E120) failed with error 1:

failed to take master pipe connection lock.

I started to have problems with my DOD:S after the new update. I re-installed it and now it just won't play period

Giving me the error above. Any Ideas.

You did a full uninstall then reinstall?

You may just have to refresh your steam.

1.) Exit Steam

2.) Browse to your Steam folder on your computer (usually C:\Program Files\Steam)

3.) Now delete the following files: ClientRegistry.blob, SteamUI.dll and steamclient.dll

4.) Restart Steam and it will do an update and hopefully fix your problem
