Apples to Oranges. Star Trek and Star Wars has its moments, but overall if I want to think and analyze and probably work on something, I'd go Star Trek, if I wanna be a drunken fratbrother who watches explosions and semi-sex scenes, I'll watch Star Wars. If I wanna enjoy myself, I'll work on something else.

Overall? I always preferred Star Trek.

Original Star Wars was awesome. The prequels made me want to light George Lucas on fire.

Original Star Trek had its moments. The Next Generation was a really great series. Voyager was a good series too but some episodes were flops. I didn't like Deep Space 9 until I was older. Enterprise made me want to light George Lucas on fire and Scott Bakula too.

I like them both. The thing about Star Wars is that to me, its too small. I'm not into all the books and all that, its just a bunch of.. well, star wars going on. Don't get me wrong, I've loved the video games that had stories, going back to Rogue Squadron, but there just wasn't enough to hold me long-term. The original 3 were awesome. The next three... well, less so, but they had their moments.

As far as Star Trek goes, its got a very involved universe going on. Loved TOS, TNG, and DS9. Never got into Voyager (yet) or Enterprise (heard very bad things). The movies are just 3 episodes in 1 for me, but with a bigger budget. That being said, the last Star Trek reboot movie was pretty cool.

If I am in for a short-term sci-fi fix, I pop in Star Wars. If I need something to enthrall me for a couple of weeks, I go Star Trek.

Depends, the Original Star Wars movies give Sart Trek: TNG, TOS, and Voyager a run for their money. The prequels....... lets just say the make Star Trek: Enterprise look like a masterpiece. I give it to Star Trek, just because they were more willing to explore humanity in thier show. Also, no one made them have Midoclorians to be Star Fleet Academy officers

There are a few things you should know before I give you a date for Basic Combat Training (BCT). Firstly, you are restricted to the weapon class of Rifleman for the duration of your time as a Recruit.
