My kind of topic!

John Williams is just the best, sorry Magic, but Clint Mansell can do all the electronic orchestration he wants and he still won't compare to Williams.

Here are some of the songs that just put me in an awesome mood:

Beethoven - Sostenuto, ma non troppo - Allegro ("Egmont Overture, Op. 84)

Dvorak - Symphony no. 9, 4. Allegro con fuoco ("From the New World")

Vaughan Williams - Fantasia On A Theme By Thomas Tallis

Bach - Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1

And if we're doing movie scores, can't say John Williams without these:

Duel Of Fates

E.T.

Imperial March

1941 March

Oh yeah, and HANS ZIMMER!

Pirates of the Caribbean

The Battle (from Gladiator)

Discombobulate (from Sherlock Holmes)

I don't think it would be too much of a reach to call Hans Zimmer the next John Williams?

Oh and for Williams/Star Wars Fans: Star Wars
