sound bug on KAR98k

im having little sound bug on the kar when you reload. It fires as usual but when you get the strip clip and insert the cartridges into the weapon it isnt any sound

Have you added any custom sounds to DoD? If you have, the sound you're missing is probably corrupt or broken. Best bet, find another custom sound for the KAR 98 and re-upload. You can also dig through your sound files for the sound clip and delete it, this should revert you back to the default sound.

If you have not added custom sounds, there are two things I can think of that could help. One, go to your steam library, right-click Day of Defeat: source and go to properties. click on the local files tab and click verify integrity of game cache. Or two, reinstall dods.

Verify Integrity of your game cache will probably fix it. It will find the file thats corrupt, delete and redownload it. Hopefully that helps.
