Vent problem.

every time i try to log on i get this error message.

"Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password. Make sure you entered the correct global server password or the password for your unique login name. You will be automatically banned if you try connecting with the wrong password several more times, so be sure you have the correct password before you try again. Passwords are case sensitive and must be completely retyped if you are making a change to it. The password will always be displayed as 8 (*'s or dots) even if the actual length of the password is shorter or longer then 8. You should also verify that you entered the correct IP address (or hostname) and Port number. If the port number is wrong you are connecting to the wrong server."

No Problem Sir,

Just remade the account being his old account was not setup correctly, and his password was changed. Kirkendall oversaw all corrections and made the changes. He had just been away from his account for a while, and must have done something on his end to cause his Acct. passwrod to become changed.

I am having the same problem, but only on my laptop. Works fine on my desktop, but shows the same error message on my laptop

Check your password that you use to login with. Make sure you typed it in right.

Where do i enter in my password? Usually when i open Vent it just opens and i click connect, i never have to login using a password

Hopefully that this fixes it for you. One usually only has to enter it when connecting to Vent from a different computer the first time. That might be why you are having issues.
