Brief Description of Issue: I dont have administrative rights to install ventrillo since i am in a guest like account, and my older brother has the Admin account and wont let me install hmm nothing so in brief, i cant install Ventrillo.

Best advice; talk to your brother. If you are respectful enough of him, he will allow you to do so.

I have siblings myself, and I am aware of just how difficult they like to be at times, and so if this does not work, appeal to your parents.

If absolutely none of that is an option, don't be too disapointed, just reply here. I will assist you further at that time.

Windows 7 is a bit more annoying to obtain the password without changing it.

I am assuming that we do not want to change the admin password, as that would immediate warn his brother what has happened. Though being hysterical, would defeat its own purpose.

I can redesign the ventrilo executable to not require an installation, though, as there are no admin privileges, he would not be able to speak in vent while having the window inactive.

I will assume that you are running Windows 7 then.

The exe will be ready shortly after I get back to my home PC.

EDIT: There will be a delay on that. Turns out it is going to take a little longer than expected to have this done. Continuing to work on it.

In the meantime, I strongly suggest you are attempting to acquire permission to install it. How ever you need to do it.

Not only will it be less hassle for both of us, the properly installed program will work much better than any alternative I could provide.

You should be able to unpack .rar with most any file compression software (winzip, winrar, etc).

If you don't have any such software, you need to download some.

If your file associations do not recognize the .rar file, simply click the "select a program from a list" option, and find any compression software (WinZip, 7zip, WinRar, etc)

I am truly shocked that you do not have any form of compression software to unpack a .zip or .rar

At this point, I truly do not know how to effectively take this ticket further.

I urge you to speak with either your brother or your parents in order to obtain permission, as that is the only resolution I feasibly see for this at the moment.

This topic will remain open until there is some form of resolution, and I will be continuing to look into this. Though I have strong doubts that there is anything left for me to add.

My apologies that I cannot be of any further assistance to this problem,

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks.
