Name: Luna

Rank: MSgt

Type of issue: Software

Brief Description of Issue:

Hi guys,

I was hoping you can help me with something. About a month ago, I started noticing, that if Im playing music thru Winamp or listening to music on youtube once DODS starts to load a map, it will lower the volume on winamp/firefox. Its a bother to keep having to alt tab, opening my sound settings, and raising the volume on those programs to 100 again. Also after every map change, windows or dods lowers the volume again to like 30%. Is there any way I can put something in my config or steam to stop the game from doing this? I messed around with all the settings in Options in DODS but they don't fix this problem.

Thanks for your time

there is a program that is called HLDJ (half-life DJ) which you could use because it plays through the game but its a lot of work for each piece of music..

on windows 7 right click the speaker icon then go to sounds, click on the communications tab and select when windows detects communication - do nothing.

its usually default to reduce by 80% http://www.gotgames.com.au/forums/support-...g-quiet-100937/ HAve fun :D
