Type of issue: steam

Brief Description of Issue: i came home yesterday thinking of getting some skins which i installed and after that ive been getting some lag spikes different from those i had before and a really high ping jump i have removed all skins i had and even re-installed Dod and this time i know for sure it isnt the internet because its running fine.

May be a silly question but never know; had you customized your config.cfg file at all? If so, re-installing DOD might have wiped out whatever tweaks you may have had and knocked it back to the default, so you would need to tweak it again (or download and add the autoexec line again if you were using Dillon's config )

well i think the configs that i did install didnt work because there were no difference and the lag spikes in which i reported earlier is back and now i got proof that the skins is causing it i will show the skins in a while

Works for me; would love to get some work in, always helps me learn by having a particular problem to solve.

The differences can be pretty subtle, but when removed after some time using them, can become very noticeable. I just asked as that might be the simplest reason, but if you have proof and/or feel confident it is the skins, then seconding what Rather said, a link to wherever you procured them will help much :)

What Brown really needs to figure this out is a link to the page where these skins were downloaded.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello F. Flobbs   Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion. There are a few things you should know before I give you a date for Basic Combat Training (BCT). Firstly, you are restricted to the weapon class of Rifleman for the duration of your time as a Recruit. Secondly, any questions you have about our unit, alternate times for your BCT, or just rules in general, you should contact your drill instructors GySgt. R. Fielding, 1stSgt. J. Candy, CWO. A.
