The 517th PIR is a rebirth of the 506th PIR, that existed from before DOD:S, using DOD 1.3 as it's foundation. When the unit was shutdown by the leader of the 506th PIR, we all went our seperate ways. We have recently reassembled our group as the 517th PIR with most members having served in the old unit. We are trying our best to rebuild the unit to the standards we all served under before. We are a realism unit, and will be hosting a open mixed realism in the near future. I will post when it is to be held, your troops would be most welcome to join in the fun. We have one server right now and to be honest, it's not that active yet, but we will continue to give it a try and see if we could get similiar activity as your server seems to host. Our server IP is : 74.91.122.7:27015. I've had fun joining in on your server and hope we may see some of your personel visit ours in the future. SALUTE

Greetings, Sugarman.

It is nice to meet the Members of 517th PIR. I have known you guys for quite some time and your all a good group of people. We would be happy to join the events of other units, depending on weather or not they conflict with anything is a different matter entirely but i am sure some of us [1st MRB]ers would try and make it to any event.

We like to build relations with any other units out there and we are glad to have you within the ever growing DOD community, I wish your unit good tidings and good health in the near future and here's to a bright future together. *Salute*

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. Please keep an eye out for when the next one is made available once you've completed your time requirements!   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   P. Smith 1st MRB   Take the time now to change your Steam and in-game name to:   Rec. P. Smith [1st MRB]     Please make sure to verify your forum account by checking your email. Also, please respond below with a reply showing that you have read and understand these rules. You cannot be fully accepted until you do so.
