Resolved - KeyBoard Crashing

Question

Posted

To start, I have been having headset problems on my GameCoM Headset. People were saying my microphone sounded like a fishbowl, and at that time my two headset inputs were plugged directly into the front of my computer. So, I moved the inputs, and plugged them into my Logitech G110 keyboard and everyone says my microphone sound is perfect now.

Just recently, while playing games, my keyboard would not allow me to press any keys, and seems to always hold down one key, for example if i were to open up a chat window in steam you would see ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo or any other repeated key being held down ect.... This process has been reoccurring everytime i open a game, i'm still waiting for it to happen while on my desktop.

Interestingly, i had my mouse plugged into my keyboard, along with my head set, and found when the keyboard crashed out, i did loose my headset sound, but my mouse still worked. I have now confirmed the keyboard will crash in League of Legends, DoD, and Warband Mount and Blade.

Back online, magoo said to unplug my usb connections and the start up window worked. It promptly sent me to the CPU overheating page, then i restarted again to get the windows back up. Also i'm getting the sound the computer makes when you plug in a usb, every minute or so. So two questions remain, why has my front mic and sound input jacks crapped out, and what makes my keyboard crash during video games.
