Resolved - Walking Dead game reset on me

Brief Description of Issue: I exited the game without saving, and went to load it up after practice was done and it reset everything. Settings included. I don't want to start playing it again until I've found the problem. I.e leaving the game without saving :S

Ensure the game is running with administrative privileges, and the correct in-game dialogues are used (ie, apply settings, exiting the game via the main menu, etc).

Well I have made it to the second chapter and nothing yet...so, so far so good haha.
