Also the announcers seem to know every play before they happened--- Being a former football coach it all seemed very fishy to me.

Well it certainly makes sense. I mean the whole things is basically funded by the sponseres. People stop watching the game - it means they stop watching the commercials, so that is $4 million plus down the drain. And as Stone pointed out a power outage does spark excitement. Point is, while we don't really have any proof behind this conclusion it could be entirley possible.

Oh yea, it's so exciting to listen to the announcers talk about nothing for 34 minutes while the players mill about the field. If anything that lost them viewership. In fact, the viewership was highest during the last half-hour than any other point during the game.
