Whenever I go spec and press C to change the options in spec i get stuck I can't do anything none of my keys work but esc. Just recently started happening

This is a problem I have had for some time now. The menu controls are a pain in the ass.

Regardless, once you have changed the settings you would like to change, click the options drop down, and click the "close" or "exit" button.
