Resolved - DOD:S issues after getting a new PC

Brief Description of Issue: Okay, so I just got a new computer and finally got it to work. So I download DODS and go into it. It works until I go into a server where It works for about 5 seconds then freezes and turns white. I can still shoot when I click my mouse, but I cannot see the actual game

Should mention he's on Windows 8 if I recall. Incompatibilty issues?

Can you tell us the specs of your new computer? Off the top of my head, I'd guess at a driver problem with graphics card, but knowing all the specs will make it easier to weed out other possible problems.

Windows 8 64- bit

i-5 3570

AMD XFX Radeon 7770 1gb

8gb ram

500gb hard drive

400 Watt PSU

2 fans with one in the GPU so 3 total.

I noticed with my case that the PSU is located on the bottom and one of the openings for air flow in the case is blocked because its on carpet. so it may be over heating.

After investigation with Arevicci, I have come up with a theory.

I suspect the problem is to do with an SLI setup on Windows 8 (which apparently does not play nicely with eachother)

At the same point. I have windows 8 and have yet to have a single issue with anything so I think it may be a graphics card driver issue

Okay so everything got worked out. I originally thought it was a PSU problem and had bought a 850 WATT Thermaltake PSU. Well it didn't work, so I went out on a limb and put my 9600 GT into the PC and what do you know, it worked! so the problem all along was the GPU. So I'm sending in the GPU they gave me for a new one, but to treat myself, I bought a EVGA GTX 660 SC. So everythings golden now
