Name:Quarterman

Rank:MSgt

Type of issue: (Not Sure)

Brief Description of Issue:In game sensitivity keeps dropping down to 1/8 of a in game turn.

Ever since rifle MOS I turned my mouse sensitivity down so i was able to do 1 complete turn in the game with the width of my mouse pad. Later on down the road I got a new computer and new mouse. Was able to do that 1 full turn. Then one day I noticed I was doing about an 1/8 of a turn. So I changed it to 2.5 to do a complete turn. Today I noticed I was back down to the 1/8 of a turn on 2.5. Tried to change it in game and my computer froze haha.

Don't know if this matters but it's a Logtech 6500 cord mouse, with lazer, weights. Also you can adjust sensitivity on the side of the mouse but I haven't touched those. If I did i would be moving like 1/357923759237923 of a turn o.O

I'm assuming you mean G500, not 6500 : )

Check that out. It looks like the settings in the OS and the mouse's internal settings combat with each other causing problems (in another area of the forums here, your exact problem was described by a user and the mods referenced the above thread). It looks like one possible fix is:

Go into SetPoint

In pointer options, uncheck "Use OS drivers for speed and acceleration"

Set the speed to 5

Acceleration to 0

What most people seem to agree on is that it requires some fiddling once you do this though, so keep that in mind.
