Resolved - Chrome doesn't recognize its connected

Brief Description of Issue:

I can't get any webpage to load. It seems like Chrome is blocked by my firewall. I went through my firewall parameters and it's completely allowed. It's been like this for a couple of days now. The browser acts like if it was offline. Here is the error (in french) : Erreur 7 (net::ERR_TIMED_OUT) : Le délai imparti à l'opération est dépassé.

I'M STUCK WITH INTERNET EXPLORER (because my Firefox keeps not responding)

Make sure in your settings, under Network: Google Chrome is using your computer's system proxy settings to connect to the network.

If that's ok, it might be worth uninstalling chrome and re-installing it.

(maybe run a virus scanner or two to be safe)

Thanks, I simply had to remove it from my allowed programs of my firewall and then re-add it.

Problem solved.
