Resolved - Vent issue

Hey guys. Not sure how reinstalling shockwave could actually wipe my profile in vent but it did.

Last night, I ran vent and it said that it was the first time that I ran it. I was able to attempt a log-in with my profile name but the pw no longer seems to work.

Is there a way to reset the pw for my vent log-in?

An officer or another high vent admin should be able to reset this for you.

An admin should be able to go into User Editor, find your profile, edit the password and hit the "update" button. After changing it to a password you can log into it with, you should be able to log in and edit the password to something you will know.

This can also be done through Rcon in ventrilo as a failsafe reset method for officers.

I would do this for you now, but I'm at work and do not have effective access to vent.

Strange you should already be a steam friend from back when. I'll check again when I get back later tonight.

BTW, is there a way to backup vent profiles? I looked in my Vent folder but couldn't find anything that looked like a "profile" save file.
