So, I decided to start my forum travels with the most mundane conversation:

How's the weather this month? What's your normal weather around this time of year? Do you enjoy it, or do you despise it?

---------------

I live in the high desert of Southern California, where it's mostly scrub brush. It's really dry but really hot this time of year (We get our summers earlier than most to start with,) so it's often a minimum of 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and sometimes as high 110 degrees (That's somewhere around 40 Celsius for the Europeans, if I recall.)

I really enjoy it, though. I once spent a year in Louisiana, and the humid days I couldn't stand at all. Here, breathing the air is a bit easier because it's not so heavy, so exercise is a little more endurable than in the south for me.

On an unrelated not, Guadalajara, Mexico is a surprisingly temperate climate, and has some of the most beautiful days I've had in both winter and summer.
