If it is that laptop you linked, I would not pay $400 for that. I'm not sure I would pay $200 for that.

What brand new computer is still running Vista? Only using wireless b or g? N is a factory option only? Did he get it with n wireless? What size is the HDD on his? DDR2 RAM? What is this, 2007?

Even if you're looking for the "rugged" computer to withstand drops there must be a better option.

It has a 1.6ghz prossessor

2GB Memory.

320 GB HD

And comes with Windows 7 on it, not Vista.

Oh, and it lists the wireless on it as 1000BGN whatever that means.

If you're in need of a new laptop I'd suggest that you post your requirements in the medical supply and we can get you some more detailed suggestions. If you were just thinking of getting that laptop because your brother-in-law is selling it, I'd say not to bother.
