I use a iMac OS X with Windows 7 installed to be able to play all of my Steam games. Just recently aquired a Macbook Air for college.

I can honestly say I use all of them! Well, damn near all of them...

I primarily use Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows XP and Mac OSX 10.8~ish on a daily basis at my work, we use a mini Linix and a mini XP build occasionally on computers that have hosed the OS. We do get the occasional Linux machine to work on as well, I wish I was more experienced with it.

Maybe I'll put it on a VM or something. But there you go, I am currently using a Win7 machine while streaming movies n'stuff on our Mac machine.

Getting good with Unix/Linux/BSD really requires that you devote some time to it. I mainly got good at it by trying to use various shell accounts I've had over the years to do things they didn't actually want me to do. The latest instance of that was with a hosting company that wanted $7/mo for a proxy, or $2/mo for a shell account, so I got the shell account and installed my own proxy. The difficulty being that you can't easily use the FreeBSD package manager without root. Back in the day I tried to compile X (the graphical environment) 100% from source code... after 3 days of learning how and about a day and a half into the compile I decided that I should just download a binary.

Depends.

I use Linux fairly frequently as it's my server. Also have a laptop with Ubuntu Desktop on it - which sees use on the days I'm hanging out in the garage brewing beer.

But I've also got a windows 2008 R2 box here at the house too (on an ESXi server setup with a couple virtual boxes on it currently).

I goof around a lot with different OS's, but not as much as I used to. I primarily use Windows 7 for most day to day stuff.
