Looks pretty interesting if you are into the MMO games. Just hoping that this isn't ANOTHER MMO flop. Guess what realm that I am aiming for?

Viktor look into the history of this game! Dark age of Camelot is its predecessor that was bought out by ea. The creator of Camelot unchained is the original Creator of dark ages of camelot. I have spent YEARSSS!!!@#!@$!@#!@# in dark ages of camelot. It by far has never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever been matched by any other MMORPG in pvp. For those of you that have played dark age I had achieved RR11. The game started to flop when ea bought mythic and they stopped putting man power into it. If you want to know ANYTHING about either of the games I will be more then happy to give you more information. BTW. Mark jacobs has bout 1-2 million dollars of his own money into camelot unchained the other money for the game funding has been strictly fan based.

P/k'ing is no where near Realm vs Realm combat. The world in which dark age was compared to ac was vaste. 3 distinct realms combating in open field pvp where it could be 300v250v100 and the 100 come out the victor based off strategy. Or even better yet in dark age it was PURELY intelligence/strategy/skill based. I have never played a game where 8 people where able to fight 100 people and win purely based off those 3 factors. Dark age origionally wasn't a game like ac or diablo or wow where the person with the best gear has a higher chance of winning purely based off hte gear.

Good point on everything except the gear part, in the glory days of AC (all the way up until 2010) gear literally meant nothing, even now with a gimped toon without tier 8 gear( i have tier 6) I outcast and outplay fully maxed/lummed 275s.

Good to know! Thats why I loved dark age. Its pvp system wasn't a LOLOLOLOL i killed you while you were xp'ing. They seperated the areas. Each realm having a different land scape and mobs and strategies and lore. The lore was awesome. Hibernia (fairy's and tree hugger lore) Midgard (nordic lore) Albion (king arthur type lore). for the pve zones until the new expansions came out. Now with that being said the pvp areas did have xp'ing spots that you did at your own risk but it wasn't forced at level 30 the only areas you could xp in you did so at the risk of being greifed.

Why has this become a quote thread? lol. I havent played the predecessor of this game, but I have heard of good things. There is a guy in our club that showed me the link and he said that the 1st game was great at first then flopped later on. Thanks for the info gents!
