The old firm. Certainly a very hate-filled extravaganza. I was caught up in hooliganism a few times myself when I was younger. There is also a long history of violence between my local club and our hated rivals. Coming back from France last night I had to dodge out of the way as both sets of fans were coming back from away games in London and Manchester and the police had cocked up so both teams were on the same train.

Good doc. As a hockey fan, it is rare to see violence on that scale between rival club supporters. That said, there are some heated rivalries that have boiled over in the past.

Getting into the MLS recently has introduced me to what supporters groups can be like, but in NA it is much more tame.
