Hello!

I'm new to the forums and soon to be the unit, my name is VanFleet.

I'm from Utah, but currently stationed in South Carolina with my wife and son for the USAF.

I've been in the AF for only 9 months so while I'm not a brand new recruit, I am new to the real world military atmosphere and I'm loving it.

I joined the service a little late in life, I'm 24. I'm already looking at jumping to the Army through the Blue to Green program for their WO training (Ft. Bragg recruiters wont stop bugging our office for WOs).

I love hitting the gym though I'm not a meathead, love hanging out with my 2 year old and sometimes the dog and wife. Love being outside fishing or camping.

I have been in and out of realism for about 12 years. YES 12 YEARS, since I was a little under 13 years old. Started in a Waffen SS unit with the 12th SS, then we merged into a 9th SS. A few of us left to join with a 26th ID and thats when realism really hit it's peak. Our whole company split from the 26th ID and formed the 506th PIR. After a while the 506th separated. A small crew of the original members, including myself and the original leader reformed the 506th in DoD: Source. I left after about 2 years, had other priorities in life but vowed to return. I returned almost a year ago, but it was a year too late the unit again separated. I've been looking for a good group to hang around with but DoD: Source is not what it used to be, neither are the units.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. Please keep an eye out for when the next one is made available once you've completed your time requirements!   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   P.
