I have a GTX 670, its a very good card. I was going to but the 680 instead but the performance upgrade was minimal. I have played DoDs, War Thunder, Team Fortress and BF3 with this card and have been able to set the video settings to max on a 1920x1080 monitor. I think its a good choice at a good price for a high end video card.

Price range is a big factor and the 660 does look like it gets good marks. It really boils down to like you said, a certain price you want, I think for the price and what the stats are you could play most of the games out there are high to max resolution. There are a few games that you may need to tone down a bit.

I can play BF3-4 on high settings and thats pretty much the only game that I cant run ultra on. I have dual 460gtxs and they are great, but they use way to much power and are too noisy. Now what I need help with is picking out a certain type of 660gtx. When I looked on newegg there were like 6 different versions.

I'd recommend the FTW edition then, usually the best ratings for its class. Only $254 +S&H (and a free copy of Batman Arkham Origins, gotta love free stuff)

EVGA 03G-P4-2667-KR GeForce GTX 660 FTW Signature 2

I agree with 2ndLt. McDowell...EVGA is a great brand in the market today and usually priced a little lower than the rest, my GTX670 is an EVGA

I would recommend against a GTX 660. That will not perform as well as your 460 SLI.

A 660 Ti will be very similar to the 460 SLI, slightly worse on some games, slightly better on others.

A 670 will actually outperform what you have, but they're a little expensive.

So I would go with the 760 which you can pick up from newegg for $250.

It should out perform the 460 SLI by 15-30% on average.

Here is an excel comparison of the 670 and 760 vs 460 SLI that I found if you want to read it: Comparison

GTX 760
