Brief Description of Issue:

Multiple users are experiencing the same issue with DOD:S. There are previous posts about this error for other Steam games but since this is happening to multiple users this seems to be a problem with the Steam servers. Steam was down for a while today and I suspect that this is the cause of this issue.

Corrections attempted:

• Clear App Cache
• Running Steam as Administrator
• Setting Steam to Beta
• The usual reboot

There is a DOD:S update that is available now. Restart your Steam client if the update has not already started. The *update* is big so it is best to start it now when you can.
