I just found out about this website in class last night and thought I would share it with the group. This is a crowd sourcing project run by Digital Globe, a satellite imaging company in Colorado. They have opened their database of satellite images to the public in hopes that the more people looking at them the better. I poked around on it yesterday looking at about 100 squares and it was all water with some white caps. It is an interesting idea and a cool chance to look at some satellite images for free!
