Brief Description of Issue:I just acquired a LG tv to use as a secondary computer monitor. I don't know if its because its a tv, but the quality is complete shit. If i use the forums on it, the font soon hurts my eyes. I would like to be able to use the second screen for forums and what not while I game. Is there anything in my computer settings that may help with this. I am using an HDMI cable. I've tried all the tv options to fix the screen but all its does is changed aspect ratio and brightness ect. My computer recognized that a second monitor was plugged in right away, and defaulted it to secondary monitor.

can you re adjust the resolution?

Just a few questions.

1. What inputs does your monitor have? (VGA/DVI/HDMI etc.)

2. What outputs does your graphic card have?

3. Are you using any converters?

Changing some of the settings in your graphic card's control panel may be able to resolve the issue.

Don't know if that helps. Used dxdiag in run to try and find my graphic card. Nothing said "Graphic Card". As for Graphic Card output, no idea, and no to any converters. As for adjusting resolution, it won't let me do anything through the tv menu.

I just tried taking my 1st Monitor cord and plugging it just into the tv, and its the same shitty quality. Could it be just because its a tv?

This TV model has a maximum of 720p or 1280x720 of resolution. The TV may be trying to interpret the signal an so you get poor visual quality. Please could you try setting the resolution to the TV at 1280x720?
