It would take a lot more than those to derail a 250 ton train engine plus the thousands of tonnes behind it in momentum. It might pull the firetruck, but I have a feeling that while the hoses are strong, it's more likely that the sheer force of the train yanking on them would either snap the hose or pop right off their truck or the pump, wherever is weakest. The train wouldn't feel a thing.

Pretty sure they are using that equipment incorrectly. Firefighters...never read the directions! Isn't those for a driveway or the need to drive a car or truck over without pinching off the flow (insert joke here).

This is what you call a liability/ also this is why Firefighters die, negligent operators aka Officers who do stupid shit.

Sadly a Pennsylvania Firefighter passed last week on the rails of a train track.

Honestly if I was the Chief of that department, the chauffeur of that truck and the officer would be dismissed!
