Ok guys first of all this is going to be a long post with lots of pics so bare with me.

Lets start off with what components I am using.

Case: Cooler Master HAF (high air flow) 922

Motherboard: Asrock x58 Extreme socket 1366 <br>

Processor: Intel core i7 920 2.66 ghz overclocked to 3.33 ghz stable (temps 34c-42c load)

Memory: Corsair Dominator 6gig (3x2 gig) PC3 1600 mhz

Graphics Card: XFX ATI Radeon 5850

Power Supply: Corsair TX 750 W

CPU Cooler: Corsair H50 water cooling block

Hard Drives: 2x WD Raptor 74gig in raid0 and 1X Seagate 1TB

Optical: LG dual layer dvd burner

Floppy: Sony all-in-1 card reader

Now my goal here is not just to have an awesome computer, but to make it fully customized for me.

So I started by taking it completely apart so I could paint all the steel inside the case black.

To do this you simply need a power drill with a 1/8in bit and some confidence as you drill out all the rivets that hold it together.

Once I got it completely apart I took it to my garage and with 2 cans of regular flat black spray paint I painted all of the parts of the case that were steel black.

I am not planning on leaving it just like this, so I did not bother to seal it with a clear coat. However if this is something you are going to want to do to your case

I suggest a clear coat to keep the paint from lifting. Once you have it painted simply re-assemble the case using a rivet tool and 1/8 x3mm pop rivets. (you can buy both at home depot for under $20)

After re-assembly its time to put your components back in.

And there you go a relatively easy modification that really gives you case a professional look.

I am not stopping here this is just phase one for me... Parts on order are: acoustic sound dampening foam, 4x 120mm silentX fans, NZXT front panel lcd readout,

4 button fan control switch (front panel), aftermarket gpu cooler (havnt decide which one) and a cold cathode internal light.

Tell me what you guys think and if you would be interested in seeing another post with the updates. For now though this is what the machine looks like I use to kick your asses!

Ok here we go again... almost done with it.

I got my parts in, but unfortunately I picked a gpu cooler that was incompatible with my graphics card (I wasn't paying attention when I ordered it)

So what was installed was the silent fans, cold cathode light, NZXT Lcd display, thermaltake fan controller, and my acoustic dampening sound foam.

I am pretty much done with the inside... I would still like to find a good aftermarket GPU cooler, and maybe add one more cathode for the bottom of the case, but overall i am very pleased with the way it turned out.

This was my first time ever using the sound foam, and it is a difficult task to install it. The results however are worth it

I just have to cut the viewing window out of my side panel, and I will be finished...

I plan on posting more pics of how I did it and making a video I will share, but tell me what you think so far
