USMC here. Served from 2003 to 2007. Made it to E-4 Cpl. before I was medically discharged for my knee. MOS was 0621 Field radio operator. I was stationed out of West Trenton NJ at G battery 3/14. I worked as communications for the artillery line and fire direction control. Sometimes I got to be a forward observer as well. Unit was deployed to Iraq in 2005.

I personally am not but a bunch of people I graduated with are. One is in the USMC as an MP, one is an ordnance specialist on an Aircraft Carrier (he puts the bombs and missiles on the planes), one is a firefighter in the USMC and a girl was accepted to West Point after she graduated. I know for a fact that the ordnance specialist has deployed and so has the MP, but I am not sure about the firefighter.

Soon I'll be active military. I am contracting with the Marines after college for aviation. Been processed at MEPS already and I should be shipping out to OCS at the start of next summer if everything goes as planned

Tennessee Army National Guard here. I'm an E-4/Specialist. My MOS is 11 Bravo (infantry) I was deployed to Iraq In 2009. Came home in 2010 as our deployment was cut short by 4 months due to the pull out. Stationed at Camp Taji, Iraq. We ran "Security Patrols" AKA We rolled out the wire and went up and down all the MSRs (Main Supply Route) escorting supplys, and equipment.
