Resolved - Can't join the private server

Brief Description of Issue: I still can't connect to the private server - it keeps giving me this message "connection failed after 4 retries". I have no issues joining the public server.

We will look into this Wilson. I have contacted a few of the technicians to investigate. Lennings had the exact problem yesterday. Things we tried were:

-Verify the DoD:S game cache through Steam (right click the game and click "properties")

-Disconnect from Steam and reconnect

-Reset your router

-Reboot your computer

-Check your firewall and see if the server is blocked

With your problem and some of the other ping issues we are starting to get we will need to do some tests. You and Lennings are both Euros but I haven't heard any problems from other Euros. Some of the ping issues we have had are from the Eastern time zone, but I am in central and have no problems, ping or connection. It may come down to your ISP. Those are some of my thoughts, I will have other techs try to help as well.

Wilson, I was doing some research and realized there may be an issue with your routers firmware. Follow this basic guide and update the firmware and see if it works.

I have tried updating my router but I failed to do so - it's too technical for me....
