Resolved - CS:GO update fail (Disk Write Failure)

Brief Description of Issue:

Hey guys,

Recently bought CS:GO to play, bought it through Steam, downloading it and updating it until I came across this....

Failed updating depot 731 while writing chunk to "csgo\maps\de_overgrown.bsp", offset 50341745 (Unknown) (Disk write failure)

Tried fixing it through the youtube fix :

Can't seem to find the "locked" file his computer is showing to go into it's security properties...

HELP!! <3 PLEASE!

You checked both the 'maps' folder as well as the 'downloading' folder?

Mine installed here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps

What OS are you using?

I checked both folders. I found the BSP file, but it does NOT show it as locked, so when i go into it's properties I can't fix the problem. I thought about re-installing CS:GO? But other than that I'm getting really frustrated with it. Especially since my gf won't leave me alone!

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium SP 1

Update: I think I recall talking to Wanner in pub about this, and he said he resolved this issue. My recall isn't so great from that night, but I think it involved him manually installing a missing file.

I'll let him weigh in on this though for posterity.
