So I understand this topic will probably get heated but I just wanted peoples opinion on the war. Both from an American point of view and a foreign point of view. I am joining the military soon but I do not support the war. I support the men and women who fight it but not the conflict itself. It just seems like this whole conflict has been a waste of time, money, and american lives. I think we just need to pull out of the middle east and we need to look good doing it. Sure we may have helped create groups like the taliban when we backed those afghan rebels who fought the Russians but I do not think that it is 100% our fault. I do not see any end to this conflict in sight...

I have lost all faith in the Afghan National Army being able to take back their country and videos like these only further that feeling!

What I think is our soldiers need to be pulled out of Iraq and sent back home so they can protect and love the ones that need it most, Our side of the war ended when the 2 guys behind 9/11( may those involved R.I.P)

were killed. I understand that's a messed up country but our soldiers have done enough.

Being a disabled service member and haveing served in both iraq and afganistan i have something to say about this topic. I really dont care if you dont support the war. the fact is most of the military doesnt support it. Going over there we dont fight becouse its our jobs, we fought for other resones. We fought for the man to our left and right, we fought to keep the terrorist from fighting in our own back yards. It really doesnt matter if the war is just or not. The fact is most wars that have been fought over the history of man have been for foolish resones. Its human nature to fight. as a ground pounder all i did was fight to bring my men home and fight to keep my enimy from being in my back yard. granted i did things that i can not let go of that haunt me. But in my heart i have to think that this was right. I will say that this is a topic that should not be breeched. there are to many soft spots for me and others like me so i must ask that an admin close this topic please.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. Please keep an eye out for when the next one is made available once you've completed your time requirements!   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   P.
