Question on Wep Restrictions.

I understand the wep restriction rules about using the rifle until i earn the rank and training to use other weps. I however was curious about a possible point that comes up from time to time in standard online play. When you are trying to hold an area lets say MG is holding an area and without the MG the advance/defense would crumble is it acceptable for a Rec or anyone with a restriction to pick up the MG just long enough to keep the area until a suitable reinforcement arrives? I have a feeling i know the answer to be No, but i wanted to put it out there instead of assuming.

It is a Weapon Restriction, meaning you are restricted from using it.

Good question.

First of all we don't have the restrictions to make your life a living hell when you come on to play DoD. They are there to make you better with the rifle for realisms.

Second of all, when you becaome a private you will have a ton of opportunities to use other weapons. There is the PTU, there is MOS, and there are incentives for filling the pub and getting the pub rank higher.

Everyone had to do it and they're all better with the rifle because of it. Stick it out and I promise you will see yourself get better with the rifle and it will become the only thing you want to use in the pub.

Oh i understand the getting better part. Since i joined Sunday to today I have become so much better with the rifle it is all i use as you said. Thanks for all the answers.

i personally use to hate rifle class lol.. but now i cant live without it. i got exceptionally good with them as well as my unlocked rocket class Captain parker said it best
