Dude, the Office is a classic, especially the first seven seasons (The Steve Carell years), although the last two seasons have their own merits. What I like about it is you can binge on it real easy, being 30 minute episodes, and the actors are second to none. As a "mockumentary" series, it is probably one of the best there is.

The US Office is superior in my opinion (rare case considering all the failed US adaptions of British shows, only other one I can think of that was better was US Whose Line)

The brit Office took cringe humour to the extreme, to the point where its physically painful to watch I find. I dunno, some people like it but to me it seems like comedy for vindictive jerks and assholes. I grew up with older british comedy where you may be laughing at people but you're not laughing down at them. There's got to be -some- empathy, comedy is there to disarm wroth and reveal the humanity in all of us. So for example the boss in the US one is a pathetic goofball but you end up loving the character as he tries and fails to fit in and be cool.
