Hello all, been playing on your server for awhile now and felt I should introduce myself.

My call sign is Gigantor, Gig for short. I put suspicious on my name as a joke cause most servers question my skill. But not yours, you know a good player when you see them and don't give them shit for it. I have been playing Dods for about 10 years now, including league play. I know a lot about the game, maps, weapons, technical stuff.

I started out with a clan called one world syndicate(OWS). I learned the game with that clan and started my league play there. I became the main Dods admin for my clan, we also played many other games, but I controlled the Dods section of it. 2 servers for normal play with RTV or nextmap vote of nearly 100 maps, a gun game server, and empty server used for clan challenges or league play. With this clan, I also helped cofound a group called The Alliance. The Alliance was a group of admins that would meet together from over nearly a dozen clans. We would arrange massive clan battles against each other for pure fun. Agreeing on time and date, number of members playing, map, type of play and weapon restrictions. No keeping track of who wins or loses, just play for fun, 16 clan members vs another clans 16 clan members. Eventually the amount of games the clan played grew to large and the servers had less and less admins, causing the clan to shut down.

Shortly after I helped cofound another clan called the Fatal Agents(FA). We were mostly hardcore Dods players as well as experienced league players. We started a dust rotation server which became so popular it was ranked number 1 in the world regarding how full it was for months. Stayed in the top 5 for a year or so. Was even hard for our own members to join our server cause there was a constant que of people trying to join. So of our regulars actually frequent your server now. Eventually I got a new job and found interest in a new game called league of legends. I came back to Dods every now and then for a lil fun.

So that's my story and you can feel free to ask me any questions. I just wanted to say hello to the whole clan and introduce myself to those that I haven't had the pleasure of playing with yet. I enjoy playing with your clan mates, joking with them, and having a good ole time.

Hey gig, your name does sound familiar to me. Did you ever play the original Day of Defeat? and if so did you ever play against a clan named [Fury]. Cause that was the clan I was in back in my old DOD days when I first started playing DoD. Then after the clan fell apart I came to Source and found the 1st MRB and been with them for over a year now and they are a bunch of great people here. I feel more at home here with this unit then I did with Fury clan.

Never played the original version but Fury tags seem familiar. When I first started playing for OWS the server wouldn't really get busy until after 5 PM so I would roam other clans servers alot before then.
