As I write this I am on my way to Ft Benning Georgia to begin my basic training as a 19D cavalry scout! Im excited and a little nervous but i know that these past weeks ive spent raining will serve me well. Im am sad to be leaving this great community as I have been with this unit for over a year. I have enjoyed every second of this unit and the people and I am glad I was able to be a part of such a great community. I know sometimes Ive been a block head but I thank those who were there to give me a kick in the ass when I needed it. So i wanted to give special thanks to a few 1st MRB members who have helped me out greatly during my time in this unit!

1stLT McDowell- Ahh the only fellow El Pasoan ive met in the DOD community. I thank you for the advice and the laughs! Maybe sometime in the future we go hit up Chicos Tacos

2ndLT Griswold- You were there for my bcts and you taught me a lot of the basics and I learned a great deal about leading a team from you and for that I am thankful!

2ndLT Stone- Thanks for all the late night laughs! You have been at most of my promotions and im going to miss those awkward ventrillo conversations at 1 in the morning!

1sgt Candy- Ohh where even to begin you were there when I first got into the unit and I thank you for all the excellent advice you've given me! I am going to miss those amazing sprays!

1sgt Martin- Thanks for being there to give me those kicks to the asses i needed as i know i can be difficult sometimes! I know your dad is a cav scout also which is awesome!

1sgt Cannon- Thanks for teaching me so much about the sniper! Ive learned a lot j ust by watching you and it has come in handy!

Tsgt E. Small- Holy shit you canadian motherfucker! Im going to miss laughing about all the dumb shit wed say in vent! All the shit talking! P.S Im still a better sniper than you...

Soo many others out there I did not get to thank due to time! You all have had an influence on me! I will return to this glorious unit a little older and wiser! I hope to make all of you proud and I will try to keep you updated on how things are going!

There are a few things you should know before I give you a date for Basic Combat Training (BCT). Firstly, you are restricted to the weapon class of Rifleman for the duration of your time as a Recruit.
