Many lives were changed on this day in a matter of hours. The 1st MRB and it's command staff would like all of you to take a moment and remember those that lost their lives on that day.

Let's remember those that sacrificed their lives during the war for the comforts and freedoms we have today.

(One mustn't forget either that there were almost simultaneous attacks (bearing in mind the timezone differences) in the Philippines, Wake, Guam, Malaya, Singapore and Hong Kong. It wasn't just about US carrier hunting, it was supposed to be an international decisive blow, ending the war before it started -an extremely close call, and we lost a lot of good men all over the pacific that day.)

I was born in Hawaii and got to visit the Arizona memorial when I was a month old, it's sad that the ship keeps leaking oil and causing the harbor to get polluted, it's a really beautiful place.
