I quit drinking because of alcohol poisoning several times and because I woke up one morning and threw up blood for 4 hours.  I didn't control the drinking, it controlled me.  Been dry since 1983.

It doesnt just make you puke blood. It can make you wake up in Walmart parking lots in cities you've never heard of, too. I was 6 hours away from home and had to work in 3. I walked into a McDonalds and asked where I was, and was told "Uhhh... you're in Mcdonalds".
