Hackers

Hi,

I've played this great server for many years under the name LEON and would like to make a comment...respectfully. Of late, hackers have taken over this server from 10pm PST on and I think they are targeting the server because of your "don't call people hackers" and "you must video hackers" rules. These rules, while I understand them, have made your server a target for hackers. Theik posted about SNPro on an earlier post, these people are using K98 or sniper rifles and hit 55% headshots. I spec'd a guy named MGM last night for 30 seconds, he killed 10 people, all one shot, all scoped, all headshots, all with the K98 scoped....in just 30 seconds. He score was 85 kills, 12 caps and 7 deaths when I jumped off....he was using an AIMbot to make the Scoped K98 an assault weapon. 

 

I respect your rules and respect your clan and have really enjoyed playing here. I would respectfully ask that you review your rules regarding hackers and have your admins get more involved with hackers.

I know it can become frustrating when you see some players go positive like that in the public server. Some of these players have been speced on a number of occasions but nothing was concrete to issue a ban. Unfortunately these rules will not change, we have them in place to give players the benefit of the doubt that its skill and not hacks. If we issue a ban on judgement alone, 9 times out of 10 it will bite us in the ass and make us look bad. We've made a post in our Sergeants quarters for our admins to have a lookout for a few of these members. Please feel free to add some of our members SSgt and up or members with MP tags to have a look when you feel there is something suspicious. Like you said, you speced someone last night, that would be perfect time to take a video. Be sure to take multiple short videos (ie every time they die, stop the video and start recording again with a different number in the title) to help us determine if they are hacking or not.
