I have posted about these guys before using some of their "softer" twitch feeds. Over the holidays, they have been stacking the teams with three or four m00ns and it's getting a little strange. It seems to be a competition for kills amongst them or competitively they are trying to dominate the top 10 spots on the server. 

 

I am not necessarily asking for a ban for any particular member but the consistent high scores are suspect. The demos don't seem to show anything beyond possible aimbots or just general game exploits. Would it be possible that someone with good eyes spec them with us? It's getting repetitive and it's damaging to new players to have to deal with constant swap overs because the team is stacked with m00n people. I am sincerely not being a "sore loser" but it is annoying when it's hours at a time that they are dominating one team or the other with scores that are high enough to envy the best players on the server and beat them exponentially. The fact that they add a new m00n member and then the scores for that player go up indicate exploiting the game (and possibly individual map) settings and that is not the point of a 12 year old (or any other) video game that is largely based on teamwork, sportsmanship and the comradarie of a server like the 1st MRB. So, any really good eyes on them by MPs or admins adept at identifying exploits would be awesome.

Them dominating the server could also be deterring possible recruits to the unit. I notice an exponential rise in rage quits when they do this. It just makes the game no fun to play. When you're on their team, it's kill-stealing. When against them, it's impossible to get anywhere. That's just my 2 cents.

We have reviewed all demos provided about these players. There has been no viable evidence of any hacks or exploits in use. However in regards to team stacking that is definitely something we will have our admins work to address. We will work to establish a directive among our admins to remind them not to stack teams just as we remind our Raiders not to stack teams. However getting the console demo's is a different deal, it saves to a really weird directory and I can't remember exactly where it is, you can try the steps listed http://gamebanana.com/threads/189355 to try and find your demo's, any hosting site will work for us to view the files.

 

I understand that it can be frustrating to play with them, because they are good at the game and enjoy demonstrating that they are good at the game. We will not be banning these individuals until hard and fast evidence is presented to indicate that they are utilizing some modification to the games. Additionally if they want to dominate the top10 on our servers ranking, more power to them. That is the point of having hlxstats is so that people can compete with each other on our servers and fight to be number 1.

If you see continued Team Stacking behavior educate players on the server to balance/even the teams. Work to facilitate that balancing for the players as well. In the event that you are ignored, that is okay. You have Admin. Use it.
