Researching - DOW Startup Error

Brief Description of Issue: I get the following error when I try to run DOW: 'The following component(s) are required to run this program: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime'

Try installing the required VC runtime.  Take a look in your dow folder.

 

c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Days of War\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015

 

I would install the x86 version first...then the x64.

Ripley, did Pilons suggestion work? Keep us updated.

Apologies for the late reply. The installer hangs when showing 'Processing:   Windows7_MSU_x64'

 

I have tried everything I can that I have found online.

Ripley, what version of windows do you have? 32 bit or 64 bit?
