Reason we should Unban: I stopped insulting Helm (who insulted me, despite his superior telling him to stop). Once Wilson told me to stop: I did. Then we argued the semantics of playing the game and reasoning for doing so after Helm attacked my personal life outside of the game (which is what I had focused on). But this was not my continued defiance vs. Wilson, who told me to stop after Helm said I sucked, and me rebutting that he was trash (which is what spurred Wilson to step in). The conversation which succeeded the insult period was unrelated to what transpired between Helm and I, initially.

 

Secondly, the ban was originally 2 weeks (when I first checked) then upped to 1 month. My last ban was 1 day. We superseded the appropriate next level up, week-long ban, to go directly to a month? Seems like a severe increase.

As far as the incident with Helm goes, yes, he was out of line. Yes, he should not have acted in a manner that was disrespectful. However... You were the original instigator to this entire situation by disrespecting the players on your team, and I personally have witnessed you doing this before while playing with you. Helm was given punishment for this situation and you are just as guilty for acting disrespectful towards other players on our public server. The fact of the matter is that you were both wrong, and as far as your increase in ban time, upon reviewing your chat log, I noticed other examples of disrespect:
