After a lot of hardwork doing research and checking out Reddit's r/buildapc, /buildapcforme and a couple of other sites including some of the members here I was finally able to sit down and order all of my parts! Some of them were actually cheaper because of outside coupons being applied. I am incredibly happy to sit down with my mom when all of these come in to put together. We may record and livestream it!

Whoa that looks great! I would suggest you buy a second hard drive (not ssd) for all your files, because an SSD is fast but gets filled quickly and then gets slowed down.

Yeah I totally forgot to pick up 1tb, the WD that's on sale for like $49 right now. Thanks for the heads up! And Emily loves you guys! She thinks that she should start a support group for all of our significant others.

So here is the whole set-up. Had to do some extra buying for it and added a 2tb HDD to the above build. Also did not take a lot of pictures as I was building it with my mom.

Nice! I've been out of tech stuff for a while, but the only question is:

How much power does that video card draw, and what is the usage like (PC on all the time? Mostly used for games?)?

Some video cards can draw a lot, and you'll get some annoying problems if the power supply isn't sufficient.

Everything was checked on PCPartPicker as well as using some suggestions from Marsden and Reddit. It does not draw a lot of power and the PC is only on for gaming. Otherwise it gets completely shut down.

Any reason for not going with liquid cooling on your CPU? And is there more case fans? Or just the 1 rear exhaust? I feel like mid towers get warm fast making a lot of other. Components to get warm

I am picking up another 2 case fans this weekend and liquid cooling was out of the budget at the time. I also really like the Noctua fan.

I'm sure air cooling is fine for your use but if you really wanna get use of your unlocked CPU save up for a liquid cooler
