Last official day as a marine

So as of today I am completely and officially honorably discharged from the marine corps. My active and irr contract is completely done and what did I do on my "retirement" day woke up early as hell and went to breakfast with jenny like a old man. I cant wait for my piece of paper to arrive in the mail and jenny is slightly pissed cause now of been talking about reenlisting into the army and going back active duty.

My mother retired from the Air Force after her final tour over seas, was in for 30yrs. She then just officially retired from the government a few weeks ago. Last thing she did? Fired her co-worker / friend of over 20yrs because he was slacking. First thing she did on her first retirement day? Woke up early and took the dog out and got dressed for work. Lol.
