Personally I would go with a SATAIII/ 6gbs that has 64mb cache over a 10,000 rpm raptor drive with 32mb cache... That 64mb cache makes up the rpm difference and you can get a much larger drive for a lower price. 64mb cache = faster read/seek times 10,000 rpm with 32mb cache gives you almost identical read/seek times, but slightly faster on writes. I guess it depends whats important to you or if you just have to have it =) I am the guy that just has to have it some times, so I understand that.

It's the future mang, adapt. Yeah not too many can support it, but it's not far off. Plus the 10,000rpm 600GB combo is worth it in my opinion.

lol i got that e-mail too, but if im gonna buy something that is supposed to be extremely fast, i'll save my money for an ssd, no fragmentation :D
