keep timing out in game

keep timing out in game and trying to figure out why i keep timing out in game. but i am in a hotel as of right now so im in belief that it is just because i am in the hotel and the internet is just choking out from all of the other people on the router. 

If i am wrong i would appreciate anyones response to this to try to figure out a better way for me to play without lag and be able to stay in game for longer then 15 minutes

Hand full of things available to try and limit intermittent disconnects on a semi-public connection:

 

Go wired if you can (will ensure you are not competing with others on the wifi as wired clients are automatically signed a higher priority by the router) and it eliminates wireless interference and the native fluctuation of ping and packet loss that is just part of transmitting data through the air.

 

Run the following three commands in CMD:
ipconfig /release

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /renew

 

Should help to reset your connection data and ensure that your computer is only using the route information provided by the current network and eliminate your computer locally doing anything wonky

so question this is still doing the same thing even when im home

Have you verified your steam game files from properties in the steam library?

 

Does the issue occur on any other steam games (specifically in games on the Source engine)?

no honestly i did do the verify the steam files and i have noticed that i dont have any other problems on other servers i just seem to be having a problem with our server

In chat what is the disconnect message? You should be able to see it by pressing Y when you rejoin?

Were you ever able to revalidate your steam files? And when at home are you on a wired or wireless connection?
