issue`s with key bindings

this is what i enter bind "j" "Say_Want to learn how to use napalm to make a serious BBQ then join the 1st today @ www.1stmarineraiders.com" and it doesnt work for me and nothing is boud to j i even made sure to unbind just incase

Too many quotation marks and there is no underscore unless you are doing say_team. Here's how it should look:

bind j "say Want to learn how to use napalm to make a serious BBQ then join the 1st today @ www.1stmarineraiders.com"

Its probably too long or something, redo it or something.

Make sure you have the quotation marks in the right place... not quite sure what else the problem could be.

You need to unbind the key first:

unbind j

Then you can bind a new phrase to that key:

bind j "say Want to learn how to use napalm to make a serious BBQ? Enlist at www.1stMarineRaiders.com!"

That should fix it.

make sure nothing is bound to j in any auto exec you may have, also make sure what you are trying to say isn't too long for the chat box in game
