Fantastic game im sure alot of people have tried. I happen to have found a few mods that make it just astounding and even more playable and worth reinstalling on your drives.

First i introduce Stainless Steel! Wonderful mod which gives you more countries to play as, more units, more visual goodness, smarter AI the works!

And for all you lord of the rings fans this mod was voted for best mod of the year and im sure some of you have herd about it. Third Age Total war is a mod designed to run of kingdoms and recreate the entire world of Lord of the Rings. Its visually stunning and has alot of great units and includes the hereos themselves too. Give it a try!

I was skeptical at first, but I tried Stainless Steel and it is pretty sweet. I have yet to try The Third Age, but I probably will at some point.

Stainless Steel's very easy to install and run, however it does have a couple of glitches that cause crashing. Clicking on different factions too fast when starting a campaign, or looking at Early Era and changing to Late Era are 2 crashes I've encountered.

Overall though, it's a really great mod. From what I've seen the only thing I don't like is it takes forever to get back to your turn after you end a turn. Scrolling through all those damn factions I don't care about.

ya i agree. The creator of SS is also the creator of Third age and i believe hes working on Third Age atm. Remember to download patch 6.2 cause that eliminates alot of crashes and glitches but ya the choosing between factions too fast and the long turns are kind of a drawback. Playing third age tho -shivers- muster the Rohirim! best lotr experience in strat game wise ever. Plus the creator is coming out with a new patch that makes it a whole lot better. what amazes me about these mods is that it makes you feel as though your not even playing kingdoms anymore lol. All those annoying vanila BS are gone and its just pure new and perty.

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks.
