no permission to run DoD

alright i start up my game it loads perfectly till i get to the main screen then an icon pops up saying as the title engine error then in the white box it says no permission to run dod then i am only able to click ok whats happening?

actually i got it fixed its the damn update that screwed me up i had to restart steam thats all

One thing to try is verify file integrity threw the properties of DoD. If that doesnt work i had to go into the DoD files and rename the DoD:S file. Then run the game and it recreates the file and worked fine. However you will need to transfer your maps into the new folder so you have them, etc. Hope this works.
